Department of Political Science

The Department of Political Science was founded in 1958. To prepare our cadets for the challenges they will face as army officers, we offer a broad interdisciplinary education. By providing the cadets with a command of political knowledge and skill, they can develop an objective global point of view and become officers who are eloquent in speech, critical in thought, and fluent in written expression so as to facilitate the advancement of our army and nation.

In recent years, our faculty has been extremely active in publishing articles as well as holding and attending academic symposiums in South Taiwan. Our professors also devote their free time to the promotion of academic study. Our teachers share their findings through “Philanthropy,” which has been published 26 times by our department and proved to be a very excellent channel for exchanging opinions.

Our primary mission is to meet the need of the army and maintain the high quality of our education. Through philosophy education, we look forward to enhancing our students’ faith in the ideology of our nation. Then, we can make our students into officers with sound leadership qualities.
